HelpNyx' Choose-Your-Own-Adventure KUY CAF - Round 9 (children)
Ok, the rules are pretty simple, I'll be providing two or more options, and you follow the "adventure" that suits you best. Each "adventure" will have it's own set of naming rules for that round. Stories are optional, but always enjoyed and encouraged :) Ages are optional, and you keep track of them yourself. I will not be killing off any family members in this game, but you may chose to do so yourself. Surnames and maiden names are not provided for in the prompts, but should be used in case they are referenced in future rounds. I'll provide links to each previous round, so you can quickly find your family.
Note: Just because your chose Adventure # in one round doesn't mean that you are stuck with that # for every other round. Each round you can chose your own adventure (hence, the name).

DC = Darling Child, or a first generation child. All other children are second generation.
If you wish, you may have a couple divorce in any round. If they divorce in round 7, they can remarry in the next spouse round.
Any DC may have children this round. Each DC may only use an adventure once. However, if DC#1 uses Adventure 1, DC#2 can also use that same adventure to have their own children. Each DC may use any, all, or none of the adventures in this round to have children. If your DC uses this round to have a child, and is not married, the child will NOT be related to whomever they marry (if they ever do) in the future.
If you are keeping track of ages: Ages are provided for each of the children. Take the age from the oldest adventure used, add 1 to it, and advance all members of your family that amount. (ex. If you only use an adventure that has a NB, then the ages of your family are advanced one year [nb+1=1]. If you use adventures with a nb, an 1 year-old and a 3-year-old, then the ages of your family are advanced 4 years [3+1=4].)
Adventure 1:
Your DC feels strongly that adoption is a good and necessary thing, because of the fact that his/her family took the extra step and adopted even thought they had children of their own.
Adopted Child: (3) You chose the gender. His/her FN is a variation/related name of Elizabeth/Catherine/Mary or Alexander/James/John (note: both groups have masculine and feminine names listed - And you may use the original version if you wish). His/her MN is his/her former FN and honors their heritage.
Note: Because this is an adoption and not a birth, the total amount of years added to your family for this adventure is 2 (not 2+1, just 2)
Adventure 2:
Your DC was very surprised to find out that they were having twins. However, coming from a big family, they are anxious to welcome the two children into the family.
DS/DD: (4) The FN of each child starts and ends with the same letter (ex. DS might be Bob and DD might be Eve). Their MNs are either anagrams or names with the same meaning (ex. Both Ezra and Ophelia mean "help", or Rose and Eros are anagrams of each other).
Adventure 3:
What's a family with a dog?! Your DC felt the need for canine companionship, and went out and got a dog. It turned out to be just what the family needed!
Dog: (gender/breed) His/her FN/MN (MN is optional) is either a an adjective (a word imputing a characteristic to a noun or pronoun, a modifiers of nouns, as in good, wise, perfect), a noun (referring to persons, places, things, states, or qualities), or from a character in a story. You chose the gender and breed.
Note: Because this is a pet and not a birth, the total amount of years added to your family for this adventure is 1 (not 1+1, just 1)

Your couple grew up as next door neighbors. As children, they were often seen running around one house or the other. It's no surprise that they became a couple. The couple finished high school, and then finished college. They've gotten good jobs and are pretty much settling into life. Their first daughter was a surprise, but very welcomed. Being a parent (and maybe holding down a job) was harder then the couple thought it would be. For many years they considered their child(ren) an/their only child(ren). However, almost 5 years later and they finally feel like they have their feet back under them and want another child. Wouldn't you know it, they have twins!
Your spouse has just lost their only sibling, and last living adult relative. The deceased has left behind their children to your care, a 7 year-old girl and her 2 year-old little brother. With all of the changes in your family, your couple has decided that there will be no more children. Hubby is supposed to go to the doctor for the simple "snip" procedure, but always manages to find some reason to put it off. However, they are careful, and for the next 6 years there are no new additions to the family. And then, the opps happens and 7 years after the last addition, your family has a new daughter. Just two years later, and your couple is welcoming their last child into the family. It is for sure their last child, because your wife has decided to get her tubes tied after the delivery and not wait for the hubby to get the courage to do what must be done.
Eight years has passed, and your DC (darling child) has gotten married. They've been best friends with each other since they were in diapers, and the friendship just naturally expanded into a loving, caring relationship. While you might wish that they were slightly older, with more life experiences behind them, you are immensely happy for the two of them as well. Your child is a free spirit, very outgoing, creative, and loving. It was a surprise to find out you were pregnant, but it has been a very good surprise and has made your life more fulfilling. Caris and Marc are about ready to start a family.
Zander and Beck have been trying to get pregnant, so far without any luck. Beck's starting to worry that it's too late for her.
Cacey and Axel think they want kids, but wanted to practice first with a dog. Things with Mozart are going well.

It has been four years since Nancy has joined the family and a lot has happened. Gigi and Christos have decided to welcome a new little joy into their life. Because she, and her father, were both adopted Gigi decided she wanted to adopt a child as well. They adopted Kitty from the same orphanage that Celestine and their father were raised in.
George and Roxy also got a pleasent surprise. Less than a year after Avie was born they found out that Roxy was pregnant with not one, but two new additions!
Charles still hasn't found the right mother for his little girl, however he did find her the perfect little puppy. It's an Akita.

Alan and Kalena are so happy to see their already large family growing larger! Zeke and Ann have 6 year old Aldo and 4 year old twins Silas and Evonne. Hosanna and Jeffery recently adopted a beautiful 3 year old girl from Spain named Alexandra. And after begging for a pet for a long time and Alan finally giving in, Kiana brought home a male Boarder Collie who she named Atticus Holmes (after To Kill a Mockingbird and Sherlock Holmes).

Charlie and Kim have twins. No big surprise there! Charlie and Kim named their little boy Abia Artaxerxes and their little girl Acantha Eleanor.
Donny and Lauren also had twins. Interesting how Donny grew up with a family filled with twins and then goes and has twins of his own. Donny and Lauren named their son David Prosper and their daughter Hannah Felicity.
Lizzie and Dan adopted twin boys. Since they hadn't had a child for eight years and they thought Erion might want a playmate, they decided to adopt. When they found James and Jacob on a website advertising foreign adoptions, they decided the little boys were for them. Originally they were Reyes (James) and Guadalupe (Jacob). Lizzie and Dan decided to keep their first names, but use them as middle names.
Day and Eve bought Titsy a little puppy dog. Titsy decided to name her little puppy Silence, because the little dog was so quiet. Silence and Titsy are the best of friends.

My mom's old dog was named Chaos... she was from a litter of pups, two of which were named Melee and Havoc - I don't know if Melee or Havoc kept their names when they went to their families, but Chaos definitely lived up to her name!

She is of Latin American descent, but has already fit into the family pretty well. Maria and Ari get along wonderfully. Oliver now wants a brother his age he can play with. Ted and Zoey are still together, though their marriage is a bit rocky. Their daughter Dallas is quite the charmer, and she can make everyone laugh. Vera and John have been trying for another child, but haven't been successful as of yet. They did, however, get a dog. Shane named him Rainy. Rainy is a two year old Brittany Spaniel. He is a smart little dog and he just adores Shane. Matthew and Sarah also added a dog to the family. The two of them are content together, and haven't really thought about having children yet. Their dog is named Brick. He is a six year old German Shepherd x Black Lab and very adorable. Micah and Alice decided to adopt around the same time that Maggie and Ryan adopted their daughter Maria. Micah and Alice just finished the adoption process and welcomed an energetic three year old girl from Norway into the family. Her name is Lillian Gunnvor. Around the time they started the adoption process, Micah brought home a dog for Alice's birthday. He is a six month old Boxer they named Steel. Just after they were married, Pattie and Mark began the adoption process as well. After a long while, they adopted a little boy from Taiwan. His name is Alexander Qiang.

They decide to keep his name unchanged, and he is now a bright, well-adjusted three year old. James and Emily, still not quite ready for children, adopt a 1 year old cocker spaniel mix, who, although he is not the sharpest tool in the shed, is full of personality. They name him Fallstaff, after the bawdy and beloved Shakespeare character.
