Vitaliy and Kira Kuznetsov live in Yekaterinburg, Russia (also known as Ekaterinburg). Vitaliy is with the police department in Yekaterinburg, and he previously served two years in the Russian military. Kira is a ballerina with the Yekaterinburg Academic Ballet and Opera Company. Vitaliy and Kira grew up in the same neighborhood, but lost touch in high school. When Vitaliy moved to Yekaterinburg three years ago after his stint with the army, he saw that Kira was a dancer, and went to see some of her shows. He contacted Kira a few months after that, and the two have grown closer and closer. Finally, they were married six weeks ago. They honeymooned in Moscow, and are just now settling into a routine of sorts. Kira moved into Vitaliy's two bedroom apartment in the heart of Yekaterinburg.
