Does "nb" mean newborn or not born?

I always thought it was newborn
and I use exp. for kids that aren't born yet.

(exp) or (expecting) = not yet born but they are expecting

I've never used anything for unborn children, though - never encountered them so far. But I use (nb) for "newborn".
