Duke: Bronimir Alvey (6th Duke of Elestra) [25]
Duchess: Melisende "Melly" Alvey [21]
-S: Isaac Cristóbal Alvey [1]
-S: Edward James Alvey (stillborn)
----
When news that his wife, the Lady Melisende, was pregnant yet again, Bronomir was overjoyed. Him and Melisende would spend hours talking to eachother about possibilities for their newest child. It made Bronomir so happy that, for the first time in over a year, he forgot about his paranoia and actually began to get a rather friendly demeanor.
There was a banquet later that week, and Duke Bronomir talked to his wife about actually going this time. Bronomir and Melisende would normally never go to the banquets, due to her husband's paranoia, so she was surprised when Bronomir asked whether or not she would join him. She refused, however, so Bronomir went alone. It was much less high-energy than it was the banquet where the King was coronated, especially since the Amazing Ren had been arrested, so he decided to take over the job. He would try his best to raise everyone's spirits and make them laugh. He had a glass or two of wine and ale with a group of people, then sat down and began to eat his food, which was already cold and hard from the wait. That is when he met Lady Jane, wife of Baron FitzGilbert. He was stunned by her beauty and proposed a toast to the young maiden. They drank wine and ale until the both of them were drunk, and let their guards down and passions fly...
When Bronomir reached home and became sane again, he realized what he had done and grieved.
Many months later, when it was almost about time for Melisende to have her baby, Lord Bartholomew visited them. After talking to eachother a bit over a cup of tea, Bartholomew informed him that he was on a mission for the King, discerning which of the royal person were members of the rebellion. Bronomir was a bit upset that the King would suspect him, and made his point perfectly clear that he was with The King... to the death. Bronomir did, however, voice his ever-growing concern that Duke Elijah and his wife, Adina, were a part of the plot to overthrow the King.
Later that evening, the news reached him that the latest son of the King, prince Philip, had been poisoned at only 6 days old and was dead. Bronomir became angry, and once again set his mind to search for the conspirators.
When he arrived home from the castle to tell his wife the news of Prince Philip, Melisende went into labor. When they baby was stillborn, the two mourned over the loss. It was at this moment that Bronomir remembered what had transpired 9 months ago with The Lady Jane, and thought that perhaps he was being punished for his wrongdoings. He wondered whether or not he should tell his wife the truth, but ended up not doing so.
