George FitzGilbert, 3rd Baron FitzGilbert, is considered by many in the realm to be noble who fails to live up to his rank. George is known to love living amongst the "common folk" is the northern fells of the country.
Until the death of his father caused him to succeed to the title of Baron FitzGilbert, George was pretty much a wandering religious preacher, whose fear of Divine Judgement caused him to reject much of the trappings of his rank. His message was one of living in a loving simplicity.
Upon becoming Baron FitzGilbert, George accepted one responsibility he had tried to avoid, marriage. He married Lady Jane Greytonne, grand-daughter of his father's maternal cousin, Francis Greytonne, 2nd Marquis of Gromwald.
