In the mighty kingdom of Ontolakis.
Everything was going perfectly fine! Lav's diplomatical skills made the kingdom of Ontolakis well known for their hospitality and honesty in the nearby countries. King Lav had also pardoned his sister's murder and just sent her to the Gulden Asylum in the beautiful town of Galdemir. The Gulden Asylum was known for its luxury and everyone was happy to see that King Lav had grown up to be such a mature and generous ruler.
But alas, just as the news of the queen's pregnancy was out, a major fire in Galdemir broke out. Many people died, and even more were hurt. Lav did everything he could to prevent further losses. Among the hundreds of lost people, there was one significant. No one could find Despina.. Not even her body. Rumor said that it was she, Despina, who had set the fire in attempt to escape from the asylum. King Lav refused to beleive it, but his mentor Emmanouil wasn't so sure. He knew that Despina would do anything to get to the throne, even if it meant hurting the kingdom.
A couple of months later another shock hit Ontolakis. Queen Selena had given birth to a prince .. but he was badly injured. He hadn't got any air during the first crucial moments of his life, and now the doctors feared that he would never be more mentally devolped than a three year old. Emmanouil tried to comfort the young couple by saying that the twin daughter was perfectly healthy (and extraordinary beautiful). Every night Lav and Selena sat by their son's cradle and mourned .. and unexpectedly, love started to grow between them for the first time! The harmed baby prince had brought them together! (And now, when Selena had proved that she in fact could give birth to a son, there were no longer need for a mistress for King Lav.)
The prince's name: the name Ikenna was given to him because it means "my father's power" (in a foreign language for the Ontolakians, but still). It was given to him to honour his father, King Lav, but also because he had shown great power after his birth. Even though the odds were against him, he managed to survive. His first MN means love and is to celebrate the growing love between Lav and Selena. His second MN is after his father.
The princess's name: The FN means "most beautiful", which was appropriate since everyone thought she was the most beautiful little girl they had ever seen. The first MN is to honour her killed cousin, just spelled differently, and her second MN is to honour her mother.
