I'd like to say I don't see how in the world you are confining us too much? The whole point of the Congrats is that the players follow the rules. I've played many Congrats games over the years and I enjoy them most when I have to adhere to strict rules. It bores me when there are free choice rounds and whatnot. And your previous rounds have not had restrictive rules at all. I mean, things like initials and naming rules are pretty common in Congrats games. Now, I'm not sure if you've been told you are confining people or what here, but I say run your game how you want to and don't change unless most of the people playing disagree with your methods. If it was just one person who complained, that's one person's opinion. You can't please all of the people all the time.
