Year One
Darrel and I got a pet turtle this year. Darrel has named his Balthazar while I have dubbed him Cassidy.
Year Two
Name - Jason Pierce Fabbri
Hair - Black, wavy

Age - 12
I had to be induced when I was a week past my due date and our son still refused to come out. But Jason Pierce was born safe and sound, thank God.
Year Three
Name - Nathanael Walter Fabbri 'Nate'
Hair - Brown, curly
Eyes - Blue
Age - 27
We adopted a sixteen-year-old boy this year from a neighbouring town. He's a sweet kid, albeit extremely quiet and anti-social, but he dotes on his adoptive baby brother and seems to like Darrel and I well enough.
Year Four
Name - Ruby Leandra Fabbri
Hair - Black, curly
Eyes - Black
Age - 13
Name - Jenna Adela Fabbri

Age - 13
Darrel and I were placed with a pair of three-year-old twins from Mexico. Jenna is definitely the calmer of the pair, most of the time, and lets Ruby speak for her a lot of the time. I have been slowly teaching them English and things are progressing well.
Year Five
Darrel had to take a business trip to Paris for a few months, I was a little upset that I couldn't go with him but with Jason and the twins so young we didn't think it a good idea.
Year Six
We got a little cockatiel this year. His name's Bartholomew, 'Barry' for short, and he loves to nip at your fingers. Nate went off to school this year, he's studying in England to become an actor.
Year Seven
There was a poor little kitten that started mewing outside in our backyard at night. Jenna brought her in one day and I was a bit angry at her for touching something that could bite her I quickly realized that the poor baby just wanted love. We brought her in and Jenna hurriedly dubbed her Dawn. Dawn sleeps on Jenna's bed every night and follows her around practically everywhere.

Hair - Black, straight
Eyes - Brown
Age - 22
We adopted a fourteen-year-old boy, this time from India. He's a lot moodier than Nate was and frequently acts out but we are doing our best and hope that, in time, he will come to feel happy in his new home.
Year Nine
Name - Jocelyn Calla Fabbri
Hair - Blonde, wavy
Eyes - Hazel
Age - 24
Darrel and I have welcomed another adopted child into our growing family. Jocelyn is a nice girl, always trying to help out with the dishes and such, but absolutely refuses to be alone in the same room as Darrel or any of her male teachers.

Hair - Brown, curly

Name - Teodoro Hadrian Fabbri 'Teo'

We were placed with another set of twins, this time fraternal boys who came with their names. Darrel and I have taken them to calling Gabe and Teo (TAY-oh), something our older children have picked up. They were only about eight months old when we adopted them and, though they cried a lot at first, after we got treatment for some of their medical problems they calmed down a lot.
Year Eleven
We took a family vacation to Hawaii this year and the kids really seemed to enjoy it. Our older children played with our younger ones, carrying them out into the water so that they could feel the waves and let Darrel and I have some 'alone time'.
Jai has gone to University to take some vocal and drama lessons, following, in part, in his older brother's footsteps.
And Jocelyn has gone to the top culinary school in the world in the hopes of becoming a great chef.
Year Twelve
Name - Eleanor Gwendolyn Fabbri
Hair - Red, curly
Eyes - Amber
Age - 3
I gave birth to our second child this year, little Eleanor Gwendolyn. Right from the start Darrel and I knew that she would have my red hair but when her eyes finally settled from that baby blue to their natural colour we were all a bit shocked.
Unfortunately though I, in typical cliched fashion, got stuck in an elevator and was forced to deliver my baby there. Fortunately, it was the hospital elevator and there was a nurse and Darrel with me.
Year Thirteen
We got a rat recently and Jason has named him Professor. No one quite knows why, but we promised him that he could name this animal so we all just go along with it.
Year Fourteen
Darrel, having been obsessed with angelfish since he was a little boy, finally got one. We named it Malachi and, I have to admit, it is rather pretty.

Name - Quentin Alexander Fabbri 'Quinn'
Hair - Red, straight
Eyes - Gray
Age - nb
While in Paris with Darrel I went into labour a month early and had to deliver the baby in France. Thankfully little Quinn is alright, if a bit tiny, and as soon as I got back to Albany he was cooed at and coddled by his entire family. He seemed to really enjoy the attention of our big bunch.
