LN: Carter
Dparent1: Hallie Ruth (16)
Hallie grew up in a small town in Kentucky. Her mother died when she was 2 and her father, Jackson Carter, was a drunk and hardly ever worked. She went to school until she was 13, but had to drop out to work as a waitress so they wouldn't lose their house. She hated her father and her life. That's why when 19 year old Jesse Prichard, with his long dark hair and electric guitar, asked her to move to Nashville with him she quickly agreed. He was the hottest guy in town and had big dreams of being a country music star. They moved into an apartment in Nashville and by the time Jesse got accepted by a small record label, Hallie was 8 weeks pregnant. He promised her they would be a family and would make it work, but when his music career started to take off he decided there wasn't enough room in his life for Hallie or their baby. There was no way she could go back to Kentucky, so she checked in at an unwed mothers shelter. She never planned on being a single mother at 16, but for her baby's sake she'll have to try and make it work.
