James Henry Hendrik lived in a small town in Maine before he got a job in New York City. When he was hired for his current, well-paying job, James couldn't turn it down, no matter how much he loved Maine and the countryside. He packed up his belongings and moved to NYC. There, in the next-door apartment, was Chloe Marcelle Oddly, a pretty young woman with a cheery and bright attitude. Chloe and James became fast friends while Chloe was still going through college. Not long after she graduated and found a job, James proposed and the two had their simple, countryside wedding celebration. They currently live in NYC, but not in an apartment this time. One of Chloe's friends help set them up with an adorable little house just big enough for the two of them and maybe--if it just so happened to happen--a little baby or two. If their family got too large they would have to move out of their cozy little home and find a new place to live.
