Just after a year of marriage, Dominic and Penny made a one month trip to BC, Canada to visit her family. They also made a stop in Ottawa just for tourist reasons. After about four weeks, they headed home to Oxford.
Year Two: First Son.
Just after a year of marriage, Penny found out she was pregnant with their first child! They decided to let the baby be a surprise, and he/she was due on March 1st. Penny had to be induced on March 15th two weeks after her due date since she hadn't gone into labor and the baby was getting bigger. Their first child, a son, was born just eight hours later! The little boy had fair hair and dark blue eyes and weighed just over 9 lbs. They named their son Nathaniel Pace Evans, a biblical name and a word.
Year Three: Trip to Italy.
Just after Nathanial's first birthday, the young family went on a vacation to Italy! They started in Rome and over two weeks they traveled to Venice, Milan and Florance.
Year Four: Year of the Twins.
Nathaniel is a year and a half and Penny discovers she is pregnant with their second child! However, at the three month ultrasound, they discover it is fraternal twins!! After another five and a half months, Penny gave birth to their second son and first daughter. Miles Xander and Ilana Grace were born in the early hours on June 26th. Both Miles and Ilana have dark hair and blue eyes.
Year Five: Taking in Evangeline and Emilie.
About a year after the twin's birth, a big event rocked the family. A patient Dominic's, also a friend of Penny, died. Nineteen year old Daniela Adozi befriended Penny in the hospital a year ago when the twins and Daniela's daughter Evangeline Rose were born. Just after the birth of her second daughter Emilie, she suddenly died. Daniela was estranged from her family since she was a teen mother and her children's father ran off, so she made Dominic and Penelope her children's caregiver in case something happened, although she wished to give them to her parents. Six months after Daniela's death, Dominic and Penny managed to get Daniela's parents to take their granddaughters and raise them. They all remain close and Dominic and Penny became the girl's godparents.
