Not long after Thelonius recovered from his injuries, Lucian and Saveria married at Carimonde in the spring. In the summer, the entire family set out to Qelan to watch Magda and Noam do the same at a elegant ceremony on the beach. Both couples went off to their honeymoons, Lucian and Saveria sailing to her home country of Rajanah and Magda and Noam heading north into the mountains to visit a legendary hidden monastery in the country of Pryn. Her mother and sisters didn't understand her enthusiasm for a monastery of all things, but the warrior princess was incredibly excited to learn a new fighting style from the monks there. Yet again, the family decided that she and Noam were perfect for each other.
Upon returning to Carimonde, Thelonius and Damaris were shocked to hear that a distant relative of Thelonius's had showed up while they were gone and tried to seize the throne. The loyal castle guard had easily quelled the attack and were all knighted for their bravery. No one bothered to send news to the twins because everyone knew that they would just be disappointed that they'd missed out on a chance to do battle.
Only a few weeks later, a visitor showed up at the castle: Crown Prince Ludovic Orpheus Amadeus Wolfgang Sayyid of Ingerd, a large kingdom in the far south. He had been at Magda and Noam's wedding and had danced most of the night with Vina. Since then, the prince had been thinking about her almost constantly and came to ask for her hand in marriage.
Thelonius and Damaris were a bit reluctant since Vina had just turned fifteen and Ludo was nearly twenty-one, but Vina seemed to like him as much as he liked her, so the king and queen finally relented on the condition that they would not actually be married for several years.
