A year passed quietly after King Arsene's sudden replacement by his son Art, and everything has been going on well. Prince Arthur has finally gotten married with his fiancee Phee, now Princess Ophelia of Diana and Duchess of Jomo, besides her previous titles at Demeter. The marriage was a relatively simple and unknown one - there had been little to no publicity regarding their marriage, and it happened out of the blue when the newlyweds and their respective families suddenly announced that their children have been wedded.
However, drama was still ahead. The separatist group of New Ithaca, the same group which had tried to poison the king a year ago, has made a bold move. Their leader, Don Jorge, has organised the coup d'etat against them with a sudden attack. King Arsene and the Lunar troops managed to fend them off, and after a long and tiresome battle, it ended in a very much famed (or, as young Prince Blaise put it, "overly melodramatical and fairy tale-like") duel between King Arsene and Don Jorge at the throne room. All odds were against the King of Diana, that is, until his daughter Genevieve jumped right in and gave Don Jorge a nab from behind him.
The incident caused much worry amongst the residents of Diana, especially the royal family and the newlyweds Art and Phee. Arthur knows that if anything were to happen to his father - and indeed two attempts on his life were made in two years - he shall have to ascend to throne earlier than planned. However, as always, his young wife Ophelia strengthened him with her encouragement, and King Arsene was more and more certain that his son and daughter-in-law will make excellent future rulers.
