Re: OT
Ugh, I'm going to ignore that for simplicity's sake. lol I generally just read the books and am good with that, if it mentions it in a later book I'll take it as canon but I'm too lazy to go look it up, you know?

Haha, I think it's legitimately ignorable. If you dig through Tamora Pierce website, apparently she's given names and spouses to a lot of characters/kids, like Wyldon's daughters. And Kalasin and Kaddar's son. And endless minor characters who were never more than mentioned, like Neal's little sister. It's like the big interview thing JK Rowling did after the Harry Potter books where she talked about who married who and had kids with who, and what their careers were like, etc. Frustrating sometimes because as much as you want to know these things, it rarely aligns with your own imagining of these futures.

Neal has a sister? I completely forgot. lolBut yeah, I know what you mean. Sometimes I like to think JKR just did it to show the fanfiction writers who's boss, which makes sense but sometimes you should let fans think whatever they want. As long as it won't permanently damage the original work or whatever because the truth of it is most people are going to ship the couple's they want.
Ugh, and the names Hermione & Ron gave their kids make me shudder every single time. I just...Hugo! What? I mean, at least Albus Severus can go by a nickname what's Hugo supposed to go by?

I actually (kind of) like Hugo. And by that, I mean like in the sense that it's what I named the elaborate balloon giraffe that I got at my college one day last year, lol.
