The last 3 years have brought much happiness to our loving family. Dieudonne & Ninette have welcomed 3 more children, Roland, Fleur & Estelle. Roland is named for Ninette's father, who is so proud of his daughter & grandchildren. Charlot has already had a word to Dieudonne about watching his eldest two children, Christelle & Roland, as one day Dieudonne will have an important decsion to make when it comes to naming his own heir - the eldest child, or the eldest son... Dieudonne isn't too worried at this point, after all, he has to become king himself before he even has to worry about it! When the time comes, he plans on asking Parisa for insight to help him anyway.
Rosalind has married her King, and is now Queen Rosalind of the kingdom of Irilia! Its a beautiful island nation and the whole family plans to visit as often as possible because Irilia is simply so lovely. Rosalind & Alfonso have welcomed two children as well, Prince Gabriel & Princess Maribel. All of Irilia was so pleased (and relieved!) to have a male heir straight away, though Maribel is already a favorite with everyone! Alfonso's father went to trial and has been banished for crimes committed against his people by being a greedy, selfish king. Alfonso was not sad to see him go.
Nereus has become engaged to a rather peculiar princess... Fiammetta is a princess by birth, but her kingdom was ravaged by barbarians when she was just a baby and she was kidnapped & raised among them. Charlot's armies captured the horde almost 2 years ago, and realised who the beautiful, firey, passionate red-head girl was, and quickly took her to the castle. Fia, as she is known, was shocked to learn of her true heritage and has rebelled against the sudden expectation on her to behave like a lady. She dresses like a man, rides with the best of them, and is very impressive with a bow. Nereus was enraptured with her from the start, but he truly had to fight to eventually win her affections. Fia will never be a lady, but she certainly is charming none-the-less!
12 months ago, Reine expressed a desire to travel and see the world a bit. Eleonore was nervous about this, but decided it would be acceptable for Reine to travel and visit family in other kingdoms. One of her stops was with Eleonore's step-sister, Adeline & her family. Whilst there, Reine became very close to Adleine's eldest son, Baldric. They continued their courtship even after Reine left, communicating constantly via letters. Just recently, Baldric came to visit Reine, and proposed! Eleonore couldn't help but laugh and the funny way things work out sometimes, and looks forward to Adeline coming to the castle in a few years for the wedding.
