In 2018 our lovely couple got married... and then began the rest of their lives...
Gabriella was 22 when they got married. She was absolutely stunning in her white dress. Gabby's green eyes were sparkling and her curly brown hair framed her face beautifully. She was a translator, and that's actually how she met her husband, Steven Edgar Queen, a doctor at a very large nearby hospital. Normally Gabby wouldn't be at a hospital but a child of one of the dimplomats was getting surgery and he didn't understand German. Gabby thought Steven was kind of cute, with his straight, short, black hair and brown eyes. Steven asked her out for coffee and about 2 years later they got married.

A few weeks ago something amazing happened, I got promoted! The promotion was from assistant translator to head translator. I was so proud of myself because I never thought I'd get this far, especially at such a young age.
2020, Gabby's POV
Last night, the director of Steven's hospital came over for dinner with his wife and two daughters. His wife was an old friend of mine but that still didn't ease Steven's nerves. The dinner went along great and I had an amazing time playing with the two little girls; Caitlin and Madeline. They were 7 and 3. For dinner I cooked some traditional foods and the guys loved them.

After several wonderful years of marriage Steven decided it was time to take a break from life and go on vacation, a second honeymoon, he called it (our first honeymoon was staying at a hotel near my parents house and exploring the country for a few days). As for the destination, Steven let me decide. I thought that we should stay right here, in Europe, since in the 5 years I've lived here and the 6 years he's been here, both of us had a very little chance to leave this country. For our trip we started here and headed west. We went through the Netherlands, then Belguim, France, Spain, Portugal, then back through Spain and France, to get to Switzerland then Italy. Then Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, and finally throught the Czech Republic and back home we were. It was a great experience even though I had to work some of it (The whole trip took three months). We saw all the tourist sites and visited some family in Poland and Hungary. Next time around we want to go to eastern Europe.

Once we returned from our gigantic trip we settled into a comfortable routine, until I got asked to go to Mexico for a month to supervise the translating department there. It was alot of fun to be in Mexico, where it was nice in warm (it was winter in Germany), but I missed Steven alot.

We must have missed eachother alot because a few months after returning from Mexico, I became pregnant. I didn't realize I was pregnant, though, until I was 8 or so weeks along and started getting sick. At first I didn't think much of it but when I mentioned it to my mother she thought I should go look at the calendar. Sam was born on his due date and was 21 inches tall and 8lbs 3oz.

After Sam was born I wanted to go back to work but I also wanted to stay home. Finally after much thought, I decided to go back to work and send Sam to a local Jewish preschool. He loved it there but when they got out for the summer, his teacher told us that she wanted us to take the class rabbit, Johannes, just for the summer. At first we were reluctant because we both worked (during the summer I worked afternoons and he worked mornings) so there would be little time for pets. But after we saw how much Sammy loved the rabbit we decided 3 months wouldn't be too bad.

When Sam was 18 months old, I found out I was pregnant again. Steven and were overjoyed and our new baby was due January 1st. However, Tali decided, one Hannukah night, that she wished to join us for the fun. In the middle of dinner I had started having contractions. The only people, fortunately, that night who were celebrating at our house, were my parents, who flew in for a visit the night before. They watched Sam as we raced to the hospital and brought him in the next morning, to meet his baby sister. At three weeks early, Tali was perfectly healthy and could go home after an extra day at the hospital. She was 6lbs 8oz and 19in long.

With a six month old baby and a two and a half year old, life was pretty hectic. I felt that our family was prefect at the moment but Steven did not. After much begging, I suprised him on his birthday with a puppy. The puppy was born to my friend's dog and along with her seven siblings, she needed a good home. Her mother had been some sort of mutt, rescued from a pound, and we weren't sure who her father was so we just called her out little mutt. Mitzi the mutt.

Not long after Mitzi arrived I finally agreed that another child would be a good idea, and a very short while later we found out that another Queen baby was on its way. August 21st was the baby's due date. I never made it that far in my pregnancy. Two months before my due date I was in yet another mad dash for the hospital. At 4lbs 7oz and 16in, Eddy was tiny and needed to stay in the hospital for a month.

Once summer arrived we triumphantly celebrated Eddy's first birthday. Several weeks before the same preschool that had sent us Johannes sent us several pet fish, Goldie, Ginger, and Milo. We were chosen because we have sucessful cared for a pet before and because we have three children who go there (Eddy.. 1, Tali.. 2 1/2, Sam.. 4 1/2). At first we were worried that Mitzi would try to eat them or knock over their tank but she wasn't even slightly interested.
2029, Gabby's POV
In Febuary of 2029 I found out that I had to go on supervisor duty again. This time, however, it was not in Mexico, but in Russia. This made me a little nervous because I didn't speak Russian. The business trip went on without a hitch, but I really missed my children and Steven. I was not supposed to return till May, which meant no family around for my birthday. That made me a little sad, but Steven had a suprise for me. He and the children flew out for my last two weeks of work and we had alot of fun. It was very brave of him to bring them on a plane by himself because they were 5 1/2, 3 1/2, and almost 2! And it had been their first time on a plane!
2030, Gabby's POV
After returning from Russia, I found out we would be moving there soon. I began taking Russian lessons. Steven took them also. We decided only to teach the children basics because from previous experiences we knew that children pick up languages quicker when they're surrounded by them.
2031, Gabby's POV
2 and a half months before my due date I had an emergency c-section because I had gone into labor and it would have put alot of pressure on the babies, yes babies, to be born natrually, one after the other. Bea was 3lbs 15oz and 15in, Sarah was 4lbs and 17in long, and Adi was 3lbs 10oz and 16in long. I still work but Steven stays home with the children because we decided that it would be more worth his time. When we brought them home our other children, who were four, five and a half, and seven and a half, were very excited to meet them. The identical triplets had very different personalities. Adi, much like Eddy, was shy and quiet. Sarah, like Tali, was loud and bubbly. Bea, like Sam, was curious and friendly.

After Eddy turned five, but before the triplets turned one, we decided to get all the children a combined gift. When we were searching for just the right thing. We decided a pet would be nice, preferably another cat, but when we went to the pet store, there was a small monkey inside a cage. He looked very sad and scared. I immediately fell in love with him and after several moments of discussing, we adopted Kofiko. The children absolutely adore him.

Now we have arrived at the present. Tommorow we will be finalizing the adoption of Ari. After the triplets, I thought we were done for sure, but I was wrong. Just three months ago we recieved news that Steven's neice had given birth and she was giving up the child. She was only 15. A few days later we had agreed to take Ari in and I flew out to get him. The children adore him, especially the triplets who are new to the "big" sister phenomenon.
