1. The father wasn't at the birth? Why? 3 weeks before Tilly's due date, Chase had to fly across the country to be the best man at his college roommates wedding, and just as luck would have it she went into labour!!! Chase got on the first flight home he could, but still missed his daughters birth by 2 hours. He was heartbroken, but it hasn't really affected him bonding with her.
