Surname: Jones
Name: Hunter Blaze
Age: 24

Hair: black, straight
Eyes: green
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year One
Event: Moving
Hunter and I moved to New York for the summer for a summer program I was taking at Columbia University.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year Two
Event: Child
Name: Samuel Alexander "Sam"
Hair: Brown, wavy
Eyes: Blue
Birthday: September 21
Hunter and I found that we were pregnant in a very unusual way. A friend of ours needed a blood transfusion, and I was a matching blood type, but I fainted only secodns after they began drawing my blood. Since I'd donated blood never had a problem before, the doctor tested my blood on a hunch and discovered we were pregnant!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year Three
Event: Travel
When my first book was published, I was able to travel Europe on a two-week book-signing tour! It was so much fun meeting fans of the book and traveling to wonderful places like London, Rome, Geneva, Berlin, and Barcelona. Hunter took his vacation time to travel with me, we brought Sam, and made a family vacation out of it!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year Four
Event: Moving
When the royalties from my book came in, Hunter and I decided to spend them on a nice house for our family. We moved from upper New York state, where we had been living, to a big, beautiful house in a small costal Maryland town. We love the small town life and are getting used to the new accents, and we are getting to love the warmer weather and people!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year Five
Event: Child
Name: Lily Elizabeth
Hair: Black, curly
Eyes: Blue
Birthday: June 4
Our first daughter decided to arrive two weeks early. We were in the middle of a family dinner party and Lily was coming quickly! I wound up giving birth on my in-law's bathtub! Luckily, my mother used to be an ob-gyn, so she knew very well what to do. The ambulance arived just in time to cut the umbilical cord.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year Six
Event: Pet
Not long after Lily's first birthday, our beloved Lab-mix Janie wandered off. We were all frantic, especially Sam. He wanted to go to the police right away. We made posters and asked around the neighborhood, and within a few days Janie was brought back, a little scared and a bit thinner. It still isn't clear what happened, but she was brought back by a woman who had found her on the highway ten miles from our home.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year Seven
Event: Child
Name: Miriam Sarah
Hair: Brown, wavy
Eyes: Blue
Birthday: February 28
The week we had Miriam was evidently a very busy one at the hospital maternity ward, because they almost mixed up our Miriam with another baby! Apparently there was another family named Jones in the hospital with a baby girl, because once the nurses brought the wrong baby into the room! We immediately realized the mistake however, as Miriam had a head of chocolate-colored hair and this baby was blonde. We all had a good laugh once we safely had Miriam again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year Eight
Event: Pet
We recently gained a new pet, a cat, thanks to a friend of mine. She had to move to an apartment that didn't allow pets, and she asked us to care for Sally the Calico Kitten until she could find an apartment that was pet friendly. Sally is a very affectionate cat, and the kids all love having her.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year Nine
Event: Job
Another book of mine was published, and it reached the top of the New York Times Bestseller List! This is the highlight of my professional life and what every writer dreams of. I am so excited, and all of my family is excited and supportive too. It's a great feeling!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year Ten
Event: Travel
We decided that all of the kids were old enough now, so we took them to Disney World! The kids were absolutely enchanted, as all of them love Disney movies. We visited all the parks, stayed in a great hotel, and had so much fun! We will definately go back!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year Eleven
Event: Travel
This year, we decided to take the kids to Europe. We took them to Italy, France, Switzerland, and Spain. We had an amazing time and the kids, especially Sam and Lily, had an amazing time. They loved all the museums and "old places" we saw.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year Twelve
Event: Child
Name: Benjamin Joseph "Ben"
Hair: Black, curly
Eyes: Green
Birthday: June 9
We had to have an emergency C-section because Ben ws not turning the way he should. We opted for a C-section rather than any labor-delaying drugs ro other measures, because we were worried about the effect they might have on our baby. It was very quick, and we were both extremely glad to have our little boy in our arms at last! We decided to make him our last child, as we couldn't ask for a better brood than our kiddies.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year Thirteen
Event: Family Affair
Hunter and I were asked by our local child welfare to consider becoming foster parents, as we are affluent, settled, and have plenty of space. They specifically asked us to become foster parents so we could care for five-month-old twins Hannah Leigh and Andrew Kyle Wannamaker. They were removed from the household of their mentally unstable widower father, whose mental state went from bad to worse after his wife died in a car accident soon after giving birth. We had not planned on anymore children after Ben, but we couldn't refuse. The entire family has fallen completely in love with Hannah and Andy, and we are starting the process of adoption to make them a permanent partof our family. We will allow their father contact as long as he is on his medication and seeing a doctor.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year Fourteen
Event: Pet
This summer, Lily was chosen to take the class rabbit home for the summer. Her friends nominated her, and she won the vote her class had. At first we were a little wary abotu it, as we knew next to nothing about rabbits, but gradually we--and Sally and Janie--got to accept Peter Cottontail and even enjoy him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Year Fifteen
Event: Job
Though usually accompanied by my family when I travel, this last trip to be on a morning talk show I had to make alone. All six of the kids and Hunter had to stay behind for work and school reasons. It was liberating to be alone for once, at least at first, but I soon began missign my family and was glad the trip was only four days! It was fun to get away, but nothing beats comign home to my wonderful husband and my six-pack of darlings!
