Event: Pet
We already added to the family. No not a baby; a dog. We got a golden retriever puppy and named him Max.
Year 2.

Name: Miracle Elizabeth “Lizzie”
Birthday: January 7th.
We had a baby! A little girl! However, I went into labor early and my daughter was born premature. She was soooo little and her little lungs were not developed all the way. She had to stay in the hospital for 6 weeks! My poor little angel. Luckily she is home now and should be okay but it was the scariest time of my and Darrell’s lives. Because of this we named her Miracle Elizabeth. But we call her Lizzie. She has red hair that is wavy and he eyes are blue. She looks just like me! She was born on January 7th.
Year 3.
Event: Family Affair
I decided to take Spanish this year. I had started in high school and loved it but already I had forgotten so much so I took a refresher course and the local community college. I still loved it and I could take it online so I wouldn’t have to leave Lizzie.
Year 4.
Event: Moving
This year we temporarily moved to Chicago for 3 months to be closer to a children’s hospital because Lizzie got a lung infection because of how weak her lungs are. Luckily Miracle lived up to her name and pulled through.
Year 5.
Event: Job
Darrell went to Hawaii to take pictures of volcanoes. He said it was beautiful through I was worried about him being out there in volcanoes. The pictures however are beautiful. I wish I could have gone but it was for 2 weeks and I didn’t want to leave Lizzie for that long and since she is 3 now she has started preschool and I didn’t want her to miss too much.
Year 6.

Names: River Cian, Steven James “Steve”, and Ian Asher.
Birthday: December 25th
This was a very exciting year. Since Lizzie was a year old we have been trying to have another baby because Darrell and I both want a big family. Well we are much closer now because this year I gave birth to triplet boys with the help of fertility drugs. To make it even crazier they were born on Christmas Day. That wasn’t the due date but triplets don’t usually make it that long. I was afraid that they would have lung problems too but they were all perfect. However we were at church and I started having contractions. I caused quite a commotion. We left Lizzie with some friends that were at church and rushed to the hospital and gave birth to my 3 beautiful baby boys. The first out was River Cian. The next baby out was Steven James. And my last boy is Ian Asher. River is a red head whose hair is wavy and whose eyes are brown. Steve is identical to River. Ian however, is brunette with waves, but has brown eyes too.
Year 7.
Event: Travel
We went on our first family vacation to Walt Disney World. The boys aren’t old enough to remember it but we plan on returning in the future. Lizzie loved it though. She loved to meet the princesses and tell them about her brothers.
Year 8.
Event: Job
Darrell took another photography trip. This time he went to the Bahamas. I stayed home with the boys and Lizzie. This was much harder than when he went to Hawaii because now I had 3 babies instead of 1; plus big sister Lizzie. My sister came to stay with me while Darrell was away and helped me with the kids.
Year 9.
Event: Job
Darrell’s boss came to dinner. Things got a little crazy when Ian threw food at Steven but missed and hit Mr. Johnson. Luckily, he has children of his own and completely understood which was a big relief.
Year 10.
Event: Moving
We temporarily moved for 9 months this time to Atlanta to be with Darrell’s mother as she went through chemo for breast cancer. We are very glad though that she is in remission. The kids didn’t really understand what was going on and Lizzie hated going to a new school for part of two school years but she was glad to be near Nana.
Year 11.
Event: Job
For the first time I got to take a business trip. There was a teaching association event in Phoenix, AZ to talk about new teaching programs. It was only a weekend but that was all I needed because I missed my kids. However, Phoenix was beautiful and I hope to go back someday.
Year 12.

Name: Spencer Oden
Birthday: February 3rd
After I came back from Arizona, Darrell and I had a ‘special night’ and well some things happened and I got pregnant again. A little shocking since it was so hard for us before. That’s why we used fertility drugs and got the triplets. Anyway this year I gave birth to another boy! As wonderful as that was we had a frightening experience. When I was 8 months along I got into a car accident. Luckily none of the children were in the car so they were all safe. However I was injured. I needed emergency surgery which led to an emergency C section. That really upset me because I was hoping for another natural birth but it had to be done. Luckily we both pulled through but it was a very tough time for our family. We named our new son Spencer Oden. He again has red wavy hair and brown eyes. He was born on February 3rd.
Year 13.
Event: Travel
Since I loved Phoenix so much we decided to take a family vacation there. It was beautiful and we went out to the Grand Canyon which the kids loved.
Year 14.

Name: Ruth Anne
Birthday: January 20th
Lol, apparently Phoenix does something to us because while in Phoenix last year we conceived our second daughter. Needless to say Lizzie was very excited to finally have a sister. I found out about her though when I was already six months along. I hardly had gain any weight and nothing was like my previous pregnancies. However since my accident when Spencer was born I go in to the doctor for regular updates every year and at my appointment they did an ultrasound and surprise found our baby. Ruth Anne was born on January 20th. She has beautiful blonde curly hair and brown eyes.

Names: Jacob Michael “Jake”, Dean Jesse, and Alexandra Jordan “Alex”
Birthday: December 25th
Something happened this year that we would have never believed. With no fertility drugs this time I got pregnant again....with triplets AGAIN!! It was scary because this was a very high risk pregnancy dueing to the fact that it was triplets and as we have noticed it is difficult for me to carry one child let alone three now because of the injuries I got in the car accident a few years back. It was scary but everything turned out okay. The weirdest part is that this set of triplets was also born on Christmas day. Which was so weird. This time during the night, after Santa had left all the presents under the tree my water broke in bed. We called my sister to stay with the kids and went to the hospital. I obviously had to have another C section. The first born is Jacob Michael. He has red straight hair and green eyes. Next is Dean Jesse who has brown curly hair and brown eyes. The last one is a daughter. Alexandra Jordan has brown curly hair and brown eyes.
