Only one year after their marriage, the King and Queen welcomed their first child - a son. In an interview secured with the Queen, she had explained the reason behind the names of her first child. Walter was a name they had agreed upon, Konstantin after her own father, Prince Constantino, Diego after her husband's father, the late Don Diego, and Michael after the archangel.
