Gerard proposed to Neva, and soon afterwards, she revealed that she was pregnant. Meanwhile, Maelys got accepted into the college of her choice, and Eoin and her have been dating for almost a year. One day, Fyren surprised his mom with a turtle in her wardrobe. Joelle was going to get rid of it, but Gage stepped in and convinced her to keep it. Gage is in that Greek Mythology phase, so she decided to name him Apollo. Turtle came from Fyren. Gael has been getting into gambling, and has gambled away most of his hard earning figure skating money in the past year. Fortunately, Cyril convinced him to get into rehab, but they still lost a lot of money.

Alot of major events have been occuring around our home. For starters Ori and Max got married eight months ago! They had orginally been engaged (got engaged two years ago) but were delaying the wedding till they were out of college. That plan, however, could not be played out because just before they set the offical date, Ori found out she was four weeks pregnant. Immediately they moved the wedding up, so the child would be born into a marriage. After being married for almost three fourths of a year, they welcomed their first child. My husband and I think this marriage will last.
About three months ago Livvy got serious with her boyfriend. Adam is much like Max, although he assures us that their will be not children before they get married.
Both of our oldest daughters, and their significant others, are attending college, nearby. Ori wants to be a middle school teacher and Livvy wants to be a therapist. Adam is currently undecided and Max plans on becoming an accountant.
Unforetunately for our family, Max's parents recently died. Not only did this hurt Max emotionally, but it also hurt him, and Ori and Eddie, financially. Max had to pay for the whole ceremony, but his parents did leave him money, but he can't access it for another twenty years.
Because of this financial burden Max and Ori moved back in with us, not that that's a problem. For us. We have six bedrooms, plus a basement apartment (where they live) so it's all good.
Also, our family recently took in a baby kitten. Honeybee is a golden kitten. She was rescued from a sewer when she was just a few days old.

Tori and Austin are finally getting married! After dating for just over four years, Austin proposed. Their wedding is set for next month, and both of them are very excited. Jack broke up with Ella close to two years ago. He just started dating again. His girlfriend is Charlotte Brianne Faraldo. Charlotte is an elementary education major like Tori, and she and Jack seem to get along really well. Emma and Anna are in college now. Emma is going for music education, while Anna is planning on getting her degree in physical therapy. Anna is also dating a fellow freshman physical therapy major named Dayne Michael Sokoll. Anna and Dayne get along well, but neither one of them knows how far their relationship might go. Jenny is still excelling in music. She has even begun to write some of her own music and has expanded her musical repetoire to include the drums, flute, and trumpet in addition to piano and guitar. Pip is really excited to have a new brother (Austin), even if he isn't related by blood. Pip loves to be outside and spends hours reading in his treehouse. Dallas and Elijah are growing quickly. They have several developmental delays, but Wil and Bekah have always been supportive. Both boys attend therapy and have shown improvement. Recently, Elijah underwent surgery for endocarditis. The lining around his heart became inflamed and he spent several days in the ICU before and after surgery. He is doing better now, but his treatment was very expensive. Fortunately, Wil has been setting a little bit of money away every month since the twins were born, so there was enough money that the family hasn't had to change too much about their lifestyle.

We recently added a little bird to our house. We let the children name him and we ended up with Max, or Maxie as they sometimes calls him.
Elian also got a girlfriend now. His girlfriend Victoria is a really charming young lady and we all like her. And she loves to babysit the triplets!
And Emmeline. What should we say? Little over a year ago she told us that she was moving out. She was moving together with Gus. Three months later e were told that they were going to get married in a few months. That was a shocker! And a month after that, she told us another surprise. She and Gus were having a baby!
Their adorable little baby - a girl, was born two weeks ago. She looks just like Emmeline did as a baby, except from the eyes. She got her father's eyes. They named her Hannah. We can't believe that we have a grand daughter!
But everything isn't only good. A while ago we lost a great sum of money. We were building a new house but we got screwed. We are trying to fix everything.

It's been an up and down three years for the Bakunin family. Niamh and Miles are planning on getting married! He proposed to her six months ago and the wedding is set for seven months from now (and Niamh is not pregnant). Niamh and Miles are still in university, Niamh is in medical school and Miles an architect. Natalya graduated a year early so she is now in her first year at University of Victoria looking at a Masters in Physics as well as a BA in Music. At University of Victoria, Natalya met her boyfriend Jeremy Volkov who is in her physics class. Jeremy also is a year ahead, and is Russian on his father's side and English on his mother's side. Sonya is doing well in school and figure skating (she has already passed some bronze and silver tests). She still does some minor acting in between skating and school but not as much as she gets older. About a year ago, tragedy struck the family. Dmitri developed a brain tumor and it went unnoticed until he started having seizures, the family went to Stollery Children's Hospital where he had surgery not long later. Although they thought there could be damage, Dmitri walked out of the hospital without complications. Insurance didn't cover the whole costs so they had to pay a lot of money from their savings. After this ordeal they bought Dmitri a pet rabbit he named Nestor after his doctor.

It's been an up and down three years for the Bakunin family. Niamh and Miles are planning on getting married! He proposed to her six months ago and the wedding is set for seven months from now (and Niamh is not pregnant). Niamh and Miles are still in university, Niamh is in medical school and Miles an architect. Natalya graduated a year early so she is now in her first year at University of Victoria looking at a Masters in Physics as well as a BA in Music. At University of Victoria, Natalya met her boyfriend Jeremy Volkov who is in her physics class. Jeremy also is a year ahead, and is Russian on his father's side and English on his mother's side. Sonya is doing well in school and figure skating (she has already passed some bronze and silver tests). She still does some minor acting in between skating and school but not as much as she gets older. About a year ago, tragedy struck the family. Dmitri developed a brain tumor and it went unnoticed until he started having seizures, the family went to Stollery Children's Hospital where he had surgery not long later. Although they thought there could be damage, Dmitri walked out of the hospital without complications. Insurance didn't cover the whole costs so they had to pay a lot of money from their savings. After this ordeal they bought Dmitri a pet rabbit he named Nestor after his doctor.

Because of his conversion, he broke up with Eden, moved to an Orthodox community in Georgia and met Margot, also a convert. They got married and now have little Claude Asa. While Ilan and Shoshanna weren't prepared to be grandparents quite so soon, they are dealing with it. Joshua is currently pre-med at school while Margot is a stay-at-home mother. The twins are doing great in their senior year of high school. Sarah met Holden as a counselor at a Jewish summer camp and they are doing a long distance relationship, as he lives about a two hours away. Ari is too busy to have a girlfriend as he's focusing on getting into MIT.

Elvira and Jude are still together and in love. Elvira is Beatrice's godmother and she helps Emma with her home business. Rainier graduated high scool last year and now he's in college studying pre-law. He has a girlfriend, Lyra. She studies literature. Sébastien has a band with his 3 best friends. He sings and plays the guitar. Aurore got sick a year ago and she needed to have a heart surgery. Her insurance didn't cover the medical expenses so Étienne and Marcella used hers and Sébastien's college fund to pay for the surgery. Aurore is now healthy again and her parents let her adopt a puppy. He's a 3 month old golden retriever named Hermes.

Ava is still very sad, but she loves little Phil. She isn't in college, but she thinks she can still maybe go when Phil is a little older. Lily's best friend, Rose, introduced her to Oliver last year, and the two clicked instantly. They are going to the same college, and they like it very much. Liz thinks they might get married. Colin met Amalia when they were in the same phsycology class in their junior year of high school. They shared a love of helping others, and they both attend a college in Oxford. They plan to become phsyciatrists together when they grow up. Emma is in eighth grade, and she is very sad that she does not have a 'boyfriend' yet, since most of the girls in her grade do. She has many friends, and seems to be not very popular, but not an outcast. Kayla is doing well in school, and takes her work very seriously. Her best friend, Graciela, also takes it seriously, and the two meet up after school to do homework together. Liz decided to buy a lottery ticket just for the fun of it, and she ended up winning! The family is now very well off, which helps Ava take care of Phil without having to work. Emma decided she wanted a pet, and Charles remembered that when he was a boy he had always wanted a dog. Luckily, one of the neighbours' dogs just had puppies, and Emma had the pick of the litter. Sadie seems to enjoy chasing her tail, playing catch, and running back and forth. It is very clear to the family that Sadie likes Emma and Charles best, but they love her anyway.
