one year later.....
One year has passed since the adoption went through and our family has expanded from two to six! Ella is nine and is doing good in school and dance classes. Shortly after her arrival, she enrolled in ballet classes and also spends a lot of time in our study reading books. She is one grade ahead due to her reading, writing and mathematical skills. Ella is also happy to have an older brother, sister and nephew since she was an only child. Jayden is thirteen and thriving in school. He is in grade 8 and loves geography and social studies. He spends his time reading about countries he wants to visit in the future and playing on the new Wii that we purchased. Rosie, or "Rose" as we call her, is fifteen and caught up in school. About six months ago, Rose gave birth to a son named Charlie John Thomas McKey who was delivered by Colleen at home. She loves her son a lot and is extremely close with her new family, she is happy not to be with her abusive father. Rose was lucky to be taken from her father (mother abandoned her as a baby) and we couldn't imagine her raising Charlie under the care of him. Rose is caught up in school and Charlie is in the school's daycare. As a family we all watch serials and travel in our free time. We would all like to sincerely thank your agency for giving us three beautiful children, and our first grandchild.

It's been a year and Darya and Artem are doing quite well. Darya still prefers playing with her twin over her sisters but not over her little brother! Mikha'el and her have bonded like tape.
