Welcome Maya, Jonathan, and Martin!Maya Alicia is a 4-year-old girl from Quebec, Canada. Her young mother died in a car accident and her father, struggling through medical school, felt that giving her up for adoption would be the best decision. He would still like to send her letters and occasionally visit. Maya speaks French and English, and her father would like her to continue to learn it at school. Maya is very small and athletic, and loves to play sports and help cook. She has pin straight brown hair, green eyes, and loves to smile. Jonathan Caden is a 10-year-old from San Diego, and likes animals and soccer. If he had a dog that chased soccer balls around the backyard with him, he would be really happy. His parents died when their house caught fire, but his sister Emily survived and was placed with another family in Miami, Florida. They would like to visit each other sometimes. He is part Mexican and has dark brown hair and eyes. Martin Jean-Paul is a two month old rescued from the rubble in the recent Haitian earthquake. His family is all dead. He has big brown eyes, and loves to look at bright colors. He laughs all the time. Update on the kids!
