1 year later!
Chiara is now 4 years old. She is now in Kindergarden, and has made many new friends. She is very artistically creative, she could be the next Leonardo Da Vinci! She is learning English, and is quite smart for her age. She is now a very happy girl, and loves being with her new parents and siblings.
Andrei is now 9 years old. He is in his 4th year of Primary School. His best subjects at school are English and Health / Sport. His behaviour has improved greatly. He is now very well behaved, but has still retained his cheeky streak, which is who he is, and that is fine. When he arrived in Australia, we signed him up for little league soccer, and he is a wonderful player. He has hopes to become a famous Soccer player in the future. He is very well adjusted in his new family, and gets along well with his new siblings and parents.
Since Jovan and Bojan were infants when they arrived, we decided to change their names to Dejan Jovan & Matej Bojan, names we think would work better in Australia, but still names that would be used in Bosnia. The twins are now 1 year old, and are very different from each other. Dejan is very outgoing and energetic, while Matej is reserved and affectionate. They are still young, so their current interest's involve playing with their older siblings.
Eva is now 6 years old. She is still shy, but has gained great confidence since arriving to us. She is very loving and caring towards her siblings, and gets along with them well. We have enroled her in ballet classes, and she has aspirations to become a ballerina. She is in her 1st year of Primary School, and her best subject is Math.
We changed Dawud's name to Adam Dawud. He is now 3 years old. He is still very energetic, but he no longer yells as much! He loves playing outside and loves playing any sport. He has grown a lot of hair since he arrived, it is brown! He has adjusted well in the family.
We are happy to report that everyone is doing well!

Tali is now 12. She has just started middle school. She still does basketball and soccer (and is the star of her team), but she has recently begun participating in more.. academic activities, mainly science club, math club, school newspaper, theatre, etc. She still isn't afraid of beating up any of the boys, though.
Ella is now nine. She loves her new family and has suprised her teachers, as she seems to talk more, now that she goes to school with four of her siblings. She is taking horse-riding classes, along with art and dance and really enjoying herself.
Ronen (as Liron is now called) is now eight. As the oldest boy and oldest adopted child he feels that it is his duty to protect ALL his siblings. Even though both he and Ella seem quiet to outsiders, they fight the most out of any of the children. He is very sporty, like Tali, and takes swimming, basketball, soccer, and baseball. He would take football too but I find it too dangerous.
Vera is now seven. She has become a graceful ballerina. She is also taking horse-back lessons and gymnastics. She has a big heart and a love for all living creatures. When she first arrived she was pretty shy but now she is loud, but only around family. She has alot on her mind, you know.
Malik (as Mustafa is now called) is now seven. He is the only Muslim in our house, which makes him pretty unique. He also likes to bring it up in arguements, saying "but my Muslim friends get to....". He does, however, get lonely during the holidays when he is the only one celebrating Ramadan. He is partaking in those art classes mentioned above.
Miriam (as Yocheved is now called) is now six. As the youngest of the school crowd she is babied, and she likes it that way. She also enjoys being "worshipped" by Eva and Leo. She is in art and dance classes with Vera (and Malik) and loving it. She also swims with Roee.

one year later.....
It's been one year since Megan, Abigail and Louanne (the cat) have been with us and they've adjusted to their new life very well. Megan is 10 and doing well in school. She has been enrolled in dance classes and enjoys long bike rides and adventures with Charlotte, whom she is very close with. Abigail or "Abby" as we sometimes call her is now 5. Abby draws and sometimes paints with Catherine and Emily as well as playing with their old dolls. We got them two fish, Nemo and Gill and a female kitten named Darcy. They keep regular contact with their birth mother through letters and emails. We would like to thank you again for giving us two more beautiful daughters.

3 years later
Julien 11 and Dominique 8 are doing quite well, they've started a missions club at church to help raise money to give to the red cross when disaster strikes, Dominique wants to be a nurse and Julien wants to be a missionary/writer. They hope to go back to Haiti when they are older work there.
Sebastien 12 is doing well, it was a challenge at first moving him to a new environment and him adjusting to the new surrounding, but we love him! He has the sweetest outlook on life and an infectous laugh, definately our class clown.
Harley 3 wouldn't talk for a while and now we can't get her to pipe down. She's constantly asking questions about everything, and brightens my mornings.
Maddy 6, her mother came to visit her several times and told us that she was trying to clean up her act, but she was busted for dealing again and is now in a federal prison we haven't heard from her in a while. Maddy is still shy but loves playing with all of her sibs. She's so crazily gifted in music and her gentle spirit always calms me.
Alexa 4 is into everything! She keeps everyone on their toes trying to keep up with this enterjetic whirlwind.
