It is 1940. Bob died two years ago of a heart attack. Beth hasn't been the same since, but she enjoys seeing her grandchildren grow up. Victoria and Henry are doing well, as are their children. Andrew and Amelia had another daughter in 1938. Jamie and Ella are doing well together too. They had a daughter a few months after Frankie's first birthday.
