James Frederic LeFleur was born in England in 1880. His parents were John Henry and Jacqueline Rose LeFleur. He moved across seas to Canada at the age of 18.
Rose Catherine Mercredi was born in 1882 in northern Canada. Her father, Jean Pierre was a fur trader with Hudson's Bay Company and her mother Sine Mary is of Cree and Chipwyan descent.
Rose and James met two years ago when he stopped in the town she lived in. They married a little less than a year ago and not long after their marriage started Rose got pregnant. She gave birth to a son named Henri James.
