Viggo and Mia met in Italy. Viggo was backpacking through Europe with a group of friends, and Mia had went to Italy with her friends as a graduation present from her parents. They met in a cafè in Florence and had a very long conversation about art and travelling. They agreed to stay in touch. After a year of exchanging letters and e-mails, and talking on the phone, Viggo (who lived in Norway) decided to move to the United States. A year later, they were engaged. They got married six months after that and honymooned in Florence. Now they live in Louisville, CO.
Viggo and Mia were ecstatic to find out they were going to have a baby. What they never imagined was that they would have not one, but two! Two little princesses. They decided to name the girls after places in Tuscany, because Italy has a very dear place in their hearts; and for the mns they decided to honour classic movie stars Katharine Hepburn and Grace Kelly. Now that the girls are here, every day is a challenge, but they couldn't be happier.
Two years later, the Van Rossums received another surprise. Mia was expecting twins again! This time, two boys. With two sets of twins in the house, things are getting pretty hectic. So, Mia's mum moved in with them to help with the kids.
Viggo and Mia couldn't be happier with their four little miracles, but after a while they felt it was time to add another member to the family. They couldn't believe it when the doctor said Mia was expecting twins again! They decided to keep the genders a surprise this time. Mia was put on bedrest after a few discomforts during the second trimester, and her mum moved in again to help run the house and keep an eye on the kids. The Van Rossums welcomed two little healthy girls into their family. Florence and Sienna are very excited to have two baby sisters to play with!
Another baby girl was the perfect Christmas gift for the Van Rossumms. After three multiple pregnancies, this one was a breeze for Mia. Now that the multiples are older, it was easier for Mia to enjoy this pregnancy and take more thime for herself. Sienna and Florence helped Viggo with the house, and they felt really proud of themselves when they made a special breakfast for Mia on the day of her birthday. Everyone around the house is absolutely ecstatic with the new addition to the family, especially Sienna and Florence!
Viggo and Mia had been thinking about adoption long for some time before Ella's arrival. After Ella was born, they finally decided to start the adoption process, knowing that it could take quite a long time. Just a year later, they received the good news: they could adopt a four-year-old boy from Argentina. His name is Benjamin. Viggo and Mia decided to give him the mn Kellan, which was Amelia's maiden name and also goes with the other children's mns. Ben is adjusting pretty easily, he's learning English very quickly and he loves having so many brothers and sisters with him. Luc and Rob are very excited to have another brother to play with. The girls are also very excited, but prefer paying attention to baby Ella.
