The last year has been prolific in babies for the Kobayashi family. Nina and Sage got married two years ago, and the wedding gift they gave themselves was a house of their own (even though their bank accounts are still felling the impact, and will do for a long time). To make things even better, five months ago Nina gave birth to their first child, a girl by the name of Nerys Dorothea. Nina's twin, Cain, hasn't got married yet, but he and September decided to follow in Nina and Sage's footsteps and have a child as well. Kip came into this world just three weeks ago, and the new addition required a new house as well.
Judah, now 20, has gone and got himself a boyfriend, a handsome Scottish lad. He and Callum met in college and hit it off immediately. Judah decided to move out, and he and Callum have rented a house together.
Momoka and Yuuki are extremely proud grandparents, but they feel a bit melancholic that their own kids are so grown-up already, some with children of their own, and escaping the nest. Nina and Cain's siblings are all excited with their niece and nephew - all but for Damien, who is a little jealous of them.
