The Xaviers have bought an aquarium and a couple of tropical fish. One of the fish is named Dory after the forgetful blue fish in Finding Nemo (Callie and Laleh's favorite movie right now). Eoin wanted to name it Simba but Callie protested ("Simba is a lion, not a fish!"). So, instead, Eoin named the other fish Flounder from the Little Mermaid.
Madeleine has gotten a job at the local Children's hospital and works much more regular hours. Gabriel has decided to make his work-from-home stint permanent and stay at home with the kids, occasionally leaving Laleh with her grandmothers if he needs to meet with a client during the day.
Eoin is doing very well in school and his teachers are very fond of him. He is bright, well-behaved, and friendly, but a little shy. This year he started squinting in school and has an appointment with an optometrist in the next few weeks.
Callie is starting kindergarten soon. She did rather well in pre-school on creative things, but is not a strong reader yet. Building blocks and musical toys are her favorites and she adores bright colors. She is outspoken and outgoing, always full of energy.
Laleh is starting to talk more clearly. She loves movies and playing blocks with Callie.
