Twelve years after Micah's birth, it came as a huge surprise to the Kobayashis that Momoka was expecting again. She and Yuuki thought they were past the age of having kids, and thus hadn't been taking precautions to avoid pregnancy. Their children, especially Nina and Cain, were somewhat miffed with their mother's pregnancy, as they considered Yuuki and Momoka to be pretty much asexual (even if they all do know where babeis come from). Speaking of which, Nina and Cain both have found love! Nina has been dating Sage, whom she met when she was 16, for about two years now, and they've been pretty steady. Actually, Sage spends a great part of his time at Nina's house, because he loves how big it is. Cain, on the other hand, has been seeing September for about six months; they met in college last year, and despite their two-year age difference, quickly became good friends and party buddies. The friendship ended up turning into something more, and while their relationship isn't as stable as Nina and Sage's (Cain and September have already broken up twice), it's still a very passionate one.
Just three weeks ago, Momoka gave birth to Damien Evander. She and Yuuki are already tired of the sleepless nights, but they've also concluded that it will be nice to have a younger child in the house when all the others have moved out.
