And I seriouly doubt anyone from Denmark would name their kid Hagen, since it means 'the chin' in Danish...

I agree with you, CB, Hagen would not be used that often in Denmark. Sometimes names in the database are very old or rarely used. It's the same with some of the Swedish names, like Åslög / Aslög. That is a name I have NEVER heard, they probably stopped using it during the viking era or something. But Hagen sounds nice in english. In danish? Not so much.

noteThat was my mistake on Dagmar and Bente. I did this at work yesterday so forgive my error there. Has for Hagen, even though it means "the chin" I am sure it has been used otherwise I dont think it would be in the data base. Also my personal opinion of Hagen is very high but I dont live in Denmark.

As for Hagen, it probably has been used as some point in history, but not anymore... Even though it is on the list of approved boy's names in Denmark :/
