James and Mary met at university in Manchester and recently married and moved down to London. She is a lawyer while he is an engineer.

Thomas and Hannah just met very recently and fell in love instantly. Even though they only dated for a very short time-period they already got married. Thomas works as an accountant in a big company while Hannah is a historian.

Michael and Ayame met while he was on holiday in Japan, Ayame's native country. She worked as a tour guide in Tokyo and showed Michael around. After returning home, Michael wrote to Ayame frequently and she decided to come over to the UK for holidays. Because they got along so good she decided to stay and they eventually got married. Ayame now works as a translator while Michael works at a big electronic company.
