The kingdom of Mirarde has recently been having trouble with the kingdom of Oldenburg, their neighbor to the north. King Adam has spent many days and nights with his advisors and Parliment, trying to devise a way to stay out of war while preparing for one anyway. It's widely feared that a conflict is inevitable, and many citizens are worried. Still, amidst all this, some joy has come. Queen Rose has given birth to another son, and this new member of the royal family is welcomes just as Princess Susannah and Prince Alexander were, with celebrations and excitement.
