Three years after the birth of Princess Imogen and Prince Morgan, the Queen theresa has given birth again, this time to another boy. She is getting quite upset with the situation, but King Christopher won't hear of birth control and says it's their duty as monarchs to have as many children as possible, in case they end up dying mysteriously or killing each other over petty matters. Queen Theresa thinks that if King Christopher had to go through labour, he would rapidly and drastically change his mind.
Recently there has been turmoil with a neighbouring kingdom. According to Jadiellonian reports, the elderly King of Languedoïl was murdered by his son-in-law, who desired power. Many members of the aristocracy supported Lord de Marilenx, but just as many opposed him. The people are also mostly displeased, and there have been several riots and confrontations all over Languedoïl. King Christopher decided to offer political asylum and eventually citizenship to all Languedoïlian subjects that wish to take refuge in Jadiellons, and there is already an army ready to take action if the Languedoïlian civil war crosses the frontier. Because this may happen at any moment, strict rationing measures are in place, even at the palace.
