Thomas has recently started daycare, and he seems to be loving it. He's still a bt shy, but his curiosity eventually wins over, and he opens up a bit more. He's already made some new friends, and all of them know about his baby sister, whom he is crazy about. Thomas loves to help Akari out with Ellen, from finding lost rattles to dousing the sponge with baby bath gel. He has told Noriya and Akari he can't wait for Ellen to grow up so they can play together, and he seems to take his 'big brother' role very seriously. Sae seems to be rather curious toward Ellen, and she will often stare at the crib when Ellen is asleep as if trying to assess what sort of pink creature lies inside the crib. Ellen is good-natured and much more outgoing than Thomas. She will instantly smile when a familiar face comes into view or when someone picks her up. However, she's got a good set of lungs and doesn't hesistae to use them when she's uncomfortable, be it from a wet nappy, hunger, being too hot or too cold, or something else altogether. Both Akari and Noriya wish they could stay home with Ellen for a long time, but seeing it as both have to work, they have placed Ellen under the care of a trustworthy nanny.
