Luke and I met in English 3 our junior year. We were the two least bored people in the class, and a lot of days we would get carried away in discussions about the books we were reading. He had recently moved to Marin after his parents had divorced. He was from Wyoming and had lived on a ranch, so he knows all about cow-herding and wrangling and the like. He's very outdoorsy, and we got to be friends taking hikes and climbing trees and going to the beach around where we live. We started dating around the end of the first semester junior year. Now we are seniors, and we are very much a couple. He has moved in with my family because his home situation is a bit rocky, and my parents and younger siblings adore him. He's just like another son or brother to them now. He and I have vague plans about getting married someday, but we know we're still young so we haven't decided yet.
