Mom: Sure is! It's short for Magnolia.
You Say: Hello Magnolia, Poppy and Daisy - sorry, Dahlia.
You Think: Magnolia is exciting, Poppy is beautiful and Dahlia is... a flower. Together they are too obviously cute. And don't you even think I'm going to call her Maggie when I can use Magnolia!
