Its been two years since you had Charlotte and you just had another child-a baby girl! Was this a happy occasion for everyone? How do Gabe and Charlotte feel about their baby sister? How is your family with a son and two daughters?
You recently had a bit of a medical scare with either Gabe or Charlotte. What happened? What did you do? Is everything okay?
When will your next child be born/you adopt?
Two years after Chrlotte was born, I found out I was pregnant again! Everyone was so excited! We had been trying for another. Gabe was absolutely thrilled to hear that he was going to be a big bro once again! Charlotte was a bit confused. Whenever we would try to tell her "Mommy has a baby in her tummy!" She would just say, "Mommy, I'm right here!" She thought I was talking about her! She soon realized that ANOTHER baby was in Mommy's tummy, and she got excited!
Adeline Ivy (Addie) was born happy and healthy! We are so thrilled with our wonderful family of five! Gabe and harlotte just love holding their beautiful little sister! She is such a cutie and looks just like William! We are very happy!
A few months before Addie was born, we had a bit of a medical scare. It was a night after Gabe's soccer practice and he kept saying how much his stomach hurt! He wouldn't eat, or do anything. When it got to the point where he was pretty much screaming and crying, William decided to take him to the emergency room. I stayed home with Charlotte. I got a call from William around midnight telling me that Gabe had been diagnosed with Appendicitis. They rushed him to the children's hospital about an hour away! William decided it would be best if he were to stay with Gabe. We were all so worried about him.
The next morning, Gabe went into surgery. Thankfully everything went great! Charlotte and I went to visit him that afternoon. Charlotte was so worried about her big brother. She brought him her favorite stuffed bear, "Boo-boo". Gabe got to come home after about a week. He still could barely walk, but we were so gld to have him back. He recieved so many gifts from very loving family members! After a few weeks of bed rest, Gabe was pretty much fully recovered!
With a nine year old, toddler and newborn, our house was very hectic! To top it off, William was very busy with work! One morning, we got up and were ready for the crazy day ahead, when I recieved a call that my Grandmother went into Cardiac arrest. The doctors stopped it in time, but they didn't know how much longer she would live. I had to make the four hour drive to her house to be by her side! Wlliam agreed to take that day off of work to watch the kids. It was a pretty sunny day, so William took the kids out to the front yard to ride their bikes in the cul-de-sac. Well, Gabe would ride his bike while Charlotte chased him. William held Addie while he supervised the kids. When Addie started crying, William called everyone inside to take a break. While he was inside, the doorbell rang. He went to answer it and it was the mail man! Charlotte was clinging to his leg! When William called everyone inside, Charlotte (being the crazy chatterbox she is) decided to talk to the mail man. She had been wanting a letter from her friend that was due to arrive anyday, and insisted that the mailman not leave without giving it to her. When he tried to tell her it had not come yet, she just grabbed onto his leg and wouldn't let him move! William was shocked and a bit embarrassed to hear this news. He had to pry Charlotte off at the doorstep so the mailmn could get back to his job! Charlotte, was in big trouble! When he told me this when i got home, I laughed out loud! William chuckled a little and agreed that it was a little funny. Oh Charlotte, she finally got her letter the next day!
