Twist:
Your youngest is about 15 months old when you find out you are pregnant once again. Again it wasn’t planned. How do you feel?
I feel like getting my tubes tied but I had faith that this was happening for a reason. It was going to get rough but three times the hugs and snuggles!
How does your hubby feel?
Jon was very calm. Happy but just a little overwhelmed that this was happening so quickly. We were both worried about our security.
What about the family?
Our parents felt about the same way we did. My mother was horrible, though. “You really should reconsider this. You already have two so close together.” Like always, I ignored her comments. His parents were happy that another baby was coming and that they were finally getting grand kids but they were a little concerned about our security as well.
How did you tell the kids?
Donnie was a little worried about having to share his toys …again. Alex seemed a little excited that he wasn’t going to be the baby anymore.
Also how do you deal with the fact that you live in a 2 bedroom house (you can’t move)?
Jon and I looked into remodeling the house by adding on and extra addition/room. When Elsie gets older, she’s not going to want to share a room with the boys and I can’t blame her. Plus, I would never do that to her. Our parents agreed to help us with the loan to get the new addition. We are eternally grateful.
One day, when your youngest is about a month old, someone says something rude to you about the ages of your children. What did they say? And how did you respond?
One evening my mother had called and my children’s ages came up in conversation. “You really should have considered your, um, options, Natalie, while you still could,” she had said. “What? Are you seriously telling me this, Amy?” I was furious. “I can’t believe you! I guess just taking the ‘easy’ way out is just your style anyway. Always running away from your problems instead of hitting them head on. You’re really selfish, you know that? And I suggest changing your attitude before calling back or visiting your grandchildren.” I hung up on her. Her comment hit me just right that night (unlike it had before when I found out I was pregnant with Elsie) and I had enough.
Also you have a new niece, your first niece/nephew, tell us about her. Chris and his fiancé, Lindsay, had their first child – a little girl named Mya Noelle. Mine and Jon’s first niece. I teased him about the time he said that the boys rule once again after Alex was born. “Seems like we’re catching up,” I joked. Beautiful little girl with blue eyes and blonde hair – looks just like her mother.
Do you want more kids?
If I said no, it might end the game ;)

Do you have any suggestions for next rounds
