Alex has found a wife - and the future Queen of Lochbarrow, bringing much joy to the kingdom. Alex has pleased his father immensely by proposing to the princess of Dorchesiign, Katharina. There is another engagement in the family, but Alexander VI is not as pleased. Princess Elizabeth has fallen in love with Stuart, a simple blacksmith, and has abdicated. Her father is furious, and refuses all contact with her - it's as if she was never a part of the family.
Meanwhile, Estelle became incredibly ill and was bedridden for months. Her parents had given up all hope, when - she survived! Alexander VI and Zéphyrine were incredibly thankful, as were her siblings, Isaiah, Lena, and Barnabas.
