When your oldest was only 7 months old you found out you were pregnant. How did you feel? ~I was a little surprised but not much because we wanted them you be about that far apart.~
How did your husband feel? ~He was excited. He was so happy to be the dad of two.~
What did the family think? ~They think it's entirely to early. Since they always waited until we were 4 or 5 to have another.~
During your pregnancy your oldest senses something is wrong. They become more fussy. How do you handle this? ~Well, it was hard but we handled it ok.~
You also decide to quit your job (if you haven’t already). Why? ~ I had with the first one. Just because it was very hard to work and handle a baby at the same time.~
How do you think your kids are going to get along? ~I think they'll get along great. I have some friends that have their kids about that far apart too. They say they get along great because they're so close in age.~
When the baby comes it is the same gender as your oldest. Were you happy or disappointed? ~We were a little disappointed that it was a boy but it's fine.~
Did the family try to help you (when you came home)? ~Yeah they did but we just told them we would call if we needed anything.~
Does your oldest like the baby? ~He's doing very well with the baby. He's still pretty young so he doesn't exactly know what to do with him but he's doing well otherwise.~
Also they end up sharing a room. Does this make your oldest mad? ~No, he loves his little brother. He only gets upset when Alex cries. He doesn't want his little brother to be sad so he tries to make him happy again.~
Also if your first baby was fussy this one is calm/if the first was calm this one is fussy. Is that surprising? ~William was pretty calm I'm a little surprised that Alex isn't but he is colicky so it's to be expected.~
Your oldest does something unexpected to/with the baby. What does he/she do? ~This surprised me and Thomas, he was telling Alex a story! Will never tells anyone a story. He's a really good brother and he likes to say "Good-night" to Alex and give him a kiss right before he goes to bed.~
Now that you’re a SAHM what is your schedule like? ???
