So this is my new husband Kai. We met on a plane to Hawaii. He was visiting his family (he lives in Vancouver like me) and I was going away for spring break 2004 with my girlfriends. There was an instant connection and we got married this June in Hawaii so that his family could be there and we honeymooned there to as a vacation on our own private island. I love his name because it means "ocean" or "water" in Hawaiian and he loves the water, being a marine biologist and all. We both love it and like to go surfing when we are in Hawaii and wakeboard when we are living here at home in Vancouver, Canada.
