Natalie and Jake are passing through some rough times, but they try their best. Raising ten children, with an eleventh on the way is very demanding and exhausting, but they were doing ok. Now that Jake has lost his job though, they have gone into a semi-panic. How are they supposed to care for eleven children without a steady income? At least though, they have some real estate that they rent out and keeps them above the water.
Now Jake is looking for a new job as a journalist, but he's getting no luck. Hopefully, in the very near future an opportunity will arise, but until then, they must rely on family and friends, and positive outlooks.
Siofra helped choose the name for the 11th child. Lately, she has been very fascinated with ancient Greek mythology, so she let that influence her name choice (of course with the imput of her younger brother, Cal, who insisted she choose the name of brave Achilleas from her pages-long list.)
