Remy and Marielle recently found out that Remy had fathered another child! Turns out, Remy's high school sweetheart had gotten pregnant at the end of their senior year of high school. The girl, Amanda, didn't find out she was pregnant until after Remy had broken up with her, because they were planning to go to colleges on the opposite sides of the country, and Remy knew that a long-distance relationship wouldn't have worked. Still smarting from their breakup, and also not wanting to "ruin" Remy's college plans, Amanda never told him. Their son is now 16 years old, and after peppering Amanda with questions and doing some research on his own, he finally tracked Remy down, wanting to know his biological father. It was a huge shock to Remy and Marielle in the beginning, and awkward at first, but they have since welcomed him into their brood with open arms. Though he and his mother live several states away, they email and call frequently, and visit as often as they can.
