Rudo is a baby boy from Africa. He doesn't speak yet, so he can be taught English. He lived in an orphanage Zimbabwe. He is too young to have any interests.
Leah Madeleine is a 2 year old girl from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her parents died in a car accident. She likes dolls, stuffed animals, and tea parties. She is a little deaf in her right ear.
Daniel Richard is a 14 year old boy from suburban Wisconsin. He is Leah's cousin and his parents died in the same car accident as hers. He likes guitar, baseball and reading. He has a daughter, Morgan Savannah.
