Welcome Maggie and Jean-Luc!Megan Emily "Maggie" is a seventeen-year-old girl, originally from Aberdeen, Scotland, but she has lived the last three years of her life on the streets of Glasgow. She has recently come out of an abusive relationship with a man eleven years older than her, and is currently pregnant with his child. She is as yet unsure as to whether she wants to keep the baby or not. Megan has red hair and brown eyes, and enjoys sports, music, art, reading and cooking.Jean-Luc Pierre is eight years old and from Belgium. Jean-Luc's parents died in a mountaineering accident. His mother was from Lancashire in England so he already speaks good English, along with French. He was raised in the Protestant faith, which was that of his mother. Jean-Luc enjoys hiking, nature, animals, sports and gardening.Congratulations! Please update us on your adoptees!

Thanks!Maggie and Jean-Luc are settling in perfectly on the island. Maggie in particular is finding island life very calming and since coming the stay with us has decided to keep her baby. She is expecting a little girl (once she was used to the idea of becoming a mum the excitement was too much and she decided to find out the sex of the baby) in less than 2 months whom she plans on naming Skye in honour of her new home. In the meantime we have managed to talk her round to going back to her studies and she has made lots of friends at her new school where she particularly enjoys Home Economics.Jean-Luc was a lot quieter than Maggie in the beginning but has since came out of his shell a lot more. He's even joined the local rugby team and enjoys practicing in the garden with Comrie and Doune. Next month is his birthday and we've got tickets for the Scotland game at Murrayfield which Jean-Luc is really looking forward to! He's a delight to have around the house and the whole family is taking up French to help make him feel more at home.
