Welcome Annabelle, Thomas, Coralie, and Hugo
Annabelle Justine is a 13 year old girl from California. Her parents abused her, so she was taken from their care. She is very quiet and likes to read and draw. She is a poor student but tries her best in school.Thomas James is a 15 year old boy from London. His parents and brother were killed in a car crash. He is extremely athletic and plays basketball, football, and baseball. He has a wacky sense of humor and is a bit of a class clown.Coralie Belle is a 16 year old girl from rural France. She is a lesbian but her parents don't approve. She speaks very little English but is eager to learn it. She is a girly-girl and is into make-up and clothes and stuff like that.Hugo Pierre is a baby boy from Paris, France. His parents were teenagers and too young to take care of him. He is a pretty happy baby and likes to play with rattles and play peekaboo.Congratulations on the new additions to your family!

Thank you!Siren and Xanthe have:
Justine, Thomas, Coralie and HugoThank you so much for these wonderful children! They have made a great difference to our lives.Annabelle has decided to go by her middle name since moving in with us, as a way to distance herself from her abusive parents, so we call her Justine. Since she does not perform well in school, we have been home-schooling her and she has made great progress. She has also come out of herself a lot and become more outgoing, and helps Xanthe with a lot of her art projects. They are currently working on a piece together to be displayed at an Alternative Festival that Siren will be performing at next month.Thomas has enrolled in the local high school and became very popular with his classmates almost instantly. He is the star of the school football team, and he has earned himself a scholarship to a football summer camp led by some professional players, so is very much looking forward to attending that in a few months' time!Hugo is adorable and such a ray of light in our lives. He is progressing very well - he can now walk, talk a little, say "Mama" (in reference mainly to Siren; Xanthe is "Zaza") and play with his siblings. We are both learning French at the moment so that we can attempt to converse with him in his native tongue a little as well as ours.Coralie we assumed would be the biggest challenge, but it is she who has come the most easily into our lives. She and Siren are in the process of converting to the Wicca religion (Coralie's own choice, not Siren's) and her English has come along wonderfully. Like Justine, we are teaching her at home, but she has made several friends in the nearby village. We openly discuss her sexuality, and she finds it easy to do so, as both Siren and Xanthe know from experience what she is going through. She has her eye on a local girl at the moment...but we will have to give that one some time!Thank you again for bringing them into our lives!
