A lot has happened in the last five years.
Barbara divorced her husband Hugh Breckenridge after a year of marriage, because he became violent towards her. After the divorce she started working as a secretary at a veterinarian’s office. There she met a young vet named Angus Rutherford. They fell in love and married. They moved to a smaller Scottish village where Angus had been offered his own practice. They moved into a beautiful large cottage and welcomed twin daughters; Maura and Bridget Rutherford, in 1949.
Dorothy and her husband Martin have welcomed two more children, Angie and Billy. They are not planning on having anymore.
Edward has remarried. He and his wife Caroline have welcomed three children in two years. Edward and Caroline named the children Matthew, Melissa and Marcus Washington.
Simon has married a young woman named Georgia Wilson. He is pursuing a law degree and has been accepted to Harvard.
Audrey has married a man named Eddie Mandelbaum.
Martha and Everett are still raising Aster in their New York brownstone with Emma and Lawrence.
Ada has become a grandmother.
Sunny and her husband Daniel have welcomed two boys; Bradley and Dale. They want to try for a girl in a few years time.
Nora and Jack now have five grandchildren.
Patrick married Mary and they now have three children; Jonny, Mike and Ramona.
