The York family lives in Lancaster, PA. Nick works as a nuclear engineer at the nearby power plant, Three Mile Island. He loves his job, and works long hours. Jasmine also works. She is a social worker in Lancaster City. Nick and Jasmine have two children, Eagle and Sunny. Eagle is five. He started Kindergarten this year and loves it. Sunny is three. She goes to preschool while Jasmine works, but is always glad to go home. Eagle and Sunny are good friends, and they play together well. The hamster, David, is a new purchase to teach the kids some responsibility about owning pets.
