-DS: Harold George William “Harry” (b. December 1910-d. March 1912) -DS: John (b. March 1913-d. March 1913)Arthur & Edith have Charlie, Edward, Oscar, Martha, Ada and Nora as well as their little angels Essie, Harry and John.
Charlie & Mabel have Barbara, Dorothy, Hank and they care for Ada's daughter Sunny.
Edward & Blanche have Simon.
Ada & Harvey have Aleksey and Drew.
Nora & Jack have Patrick, Thomas and Shirley.
Charlie has finished his education and is now a practicing doctor in Boston. Mabel and Charlie welcomed their third child and first son in 1928. They named him Arthur Henry Charles Washington III, but they call him Hank. Both Barbara and Dorothy love taking care of their baby brother.
Charlie and Mabel have agreed that they are not having anymore children. In 1927 the family took in Ada’s daughter Sunny. Barbara and Sunny have become great friends and really enjoy each other’s company. It doesn’t seem as if Ada wants Sunny to come out to California, so Sunny will most likely stay with Charlie and Mabel until she becomes a legal adult. Edward married Blanche Fournier in 1926. Blanche didn’t change her name upon marriage. Blanche and Edward welcomed their first child, a son named Simon Vincent Raphael Fournier Washington, in 1929. Edward and Blanche live in University Park, Pennsylvania. Edward teaches art history at Penn State. Edward and Blanche do not plan on having anymore children. Oscar lives in Annapolis, Maryland. He works and lives at the Naval Academy. He recently married a young woman named Rose Armstrong. Martha still lives in New York with her friend Emma. She still works at Times Magazine. Ada married Harvey Dubois in January 1930 and gave birth to identical twin boys in October 1930. Harvey and Ada (aka Vita Giles) named them Alexander Giles Dubois and Andrew Giles Dubois. They go by Aleksey and Drew. Ada still works as an actress and is fairly successful.
Nora and her husband Jack moved to Philadelphia to find work. These are tough times, but the young family is determined to make it. Jack and Nora married in 1926 and have since welcomed three children; Patrick, Thomas and Shirley. Arthur, Edith and Dolly moved to Boston to be closer to Charlie and Mabel and their children. They are all getting older and weaker, but are still able to take care of themselves.
